707.09 Record.

The county recorder shall file the transcript or other papers provided by section 707.08 of the Revised Code in his office, and at the expiration of sixty days thereafter, unless enjoined as provided in section 707.11 of the Revised Code, he shall make a record of the petition, transcript, if any, and map in the proper book of records. He shall also file a copy of the record with the secretary of state. The county recorder shall preserve in his office the original papers or copies of the original papers delivered to him by the board of county commissioners.

The incorporation shall be effective as of the date that the record is filed with the secretary of state.
