SECTION 16-37-8

   § 16-37-8  Failure to comply with §16-37-7 – Exceptions. – Any recipient who fails to comply with the requirements of § 16-37-7 shallbe required to reimburse the scholarship fund for all money received by therecipient, together with interest at a rate to be set by the Rhode Islandhigher education assistance authority in conformity with the interest rate ofthe guaranteed student loan program in effect at the time any requiredrepayment begins; provided, that no person shall be required to reimburse thefund who has become permanently disabled as determined by a physician qualifiedby this state to render this opinion.
