2-9-25. Commission on intergovernmental cooperation--Establishment and purposes. The State Commission on Intergovernmental Cooperation is established to carry forward the participation of this state as a member of the Council of State Governments, both regionally and nationally, to confer with officials of other states, the federal government, and local units of government, to formulate proposals for cooperation between this state and the other states, to encourage and promote cooperation between local governments in this state, between local governments in this state and the state government, and between local governments in this state and local governments in the other states, and to organize and maintain governmental machinery for such purposes.
