3-7-1.1. Supervision by Bureau of Personnel--Independent functions of commission. The Law Enforcement Civil Service Commission shall be administered under the direction and supervision of the Bureau of Personnel and the commissioner of personnel, but shall perform the quasi-judicial, quasi-legislative, advisory, other nonadministrative and special budgetary functions, as defined in § 1-32-1, otherwise previously vested in the former Police Civil Service Commission and shall exercise those functions independently of the commissioner of personnel.
