3-7-6. Promulgation of position classification rules. The Law Enforcement Civil Service Commission may promulgate rules pursuant to chapter 1-26 to establish a position classification system for all positions in the civil service, based upon similarity of duties performed and responsibilities assumed, so that the same qualifications and pay may reasonably be required and established for positions allocated to the same class.
