34A-1-41. Entry for inspection to determine compliance--Refusal of access prohibited. Any duly authorized officer, employee, or representative of the department may enter and inspect that part of any property, premise, or place in which he has reasonable grounds to believe is the source of air pollution at any reasonable time for the purpose of investigating the air pollution or of ascertaining the state of compliance with this chapter and rules and regulations in force pursuant thereto. No person shall refuse entry or access to any authorized representative of the department who requests entry for the purpose of such investigation, and who presents appropriate credentials; nor shall any person obstruct, hamper, or interfere with any such investigation.
