37-21A-10. Interstate agreements for reciprocal recognition of certification. The director may enter into an informal reciprocal agreement with any other state that has voluntary registration policies similar to the policies of South Dakota. Under such agreement, the registered servicemen and the registered service agencies of any state party to the reciprocal agreement are granted full reciprocal authority, including reciprocal recognition of certification of standards and testing equipment, in any state party to the agreement if the service agency voluntarily registers in South Dakota and pays the corresponding fee.
