40-13A-2. Appraisal of nondomestic animals ordered destroyed--Request for board of appraisers. If any nondomestic animals are adjudged to be infected with any infectious, contagious, epidemic, or communicable disease by the Animal Industry Board, are ordered destroyed by the board and are destroyed in accordance with the order, the actual value of such animals shall be determined by the Animal Industry Board within twenty-four hours after the destruction is ordered and before such animals are destroyed. If the owner or keeper is aggrieved by the appraisal, he may request a board of appraisers to be appointed pursuant to § 40-13A-3.
