40-13A-5. Signature and certification of appraisal--Warrant. An appraisal made pursuant to this chapter shall be in writing and signed by the board of appraisers. It shall also be signed by the owner of the nondomestic animals condemned and shall be certified by the executive secretary of the Animal Industry Board to the state auditor, who shall draw a warrant on the state treasurer in favor of the owner for the amount thereof.
