46A-2-10. Fiscal year--Audit of financial affairs by board, filing of written report. The fiscal year of the district shall be July first through June thirtieth of each year. The Board of Water and Natural Resources, at the close of each year's business, shall cause an audit to be made by the State Department of Legislative Audit, or an auditor approved by the State Department of Legislative Audit, of the books, records, and financial affairs of the district, and a written report of such audit shall be kept on file in the principal place of business of the district and a copy shall be filed in the Office of the Secretary of State.
