46A-7A-178. Sale of district property to pay indebtedness. To raise money to pay any indebtedness of the district, the board shall sell and dispose of all property belonging to the district. The board shall advertise the property for sale at least four weeks in a manner in the judgment of the board to be to the best interests of the district. The board shall state in the advertisement a description of the property and the time and place when bids in writing for the property shall be opened and considered. At the time designed in the notice, or as soon thereafter as the board can meet, it shall open and consider all bids received for purchase of the property.
