46A-7A-27. Calling elections--Date. In the calendar year following the validation election and each year thereafter, the district shall call a regular election at which there shall be elected for a term of three years two or more members of the board, as the case may be. Any nominee from each division shall be nominated as provided and shall be elected by receiving the highest number of votes cast by the electors of his division. Any regular election of the district shall be held on the last Tuesday in October of each year.
