46A-7A-28. Nominating petitions for directors--Signing. After the initial election of directors, the directors shall be nominated by filing with the board, not less than thirty days before the regular election, nominating petitions for the vacancies to be filled. The petitions shall be in the form prescribed by the State Board of Elections and shall be signed by at least ten qualified electors of the division in which a vacancy will occur. No petition may contain the name of more than one candidate for any vacancy to be filled. Each elector may sign petitions for vacancies in each division in which he is a holder of title, but no elector may sign more than one petition for any particular vacancy.
