46A-8-4. Books of association--Acceptance for public record by board of county commissioners--Recording of stock subscriptions, charges. The board of county commissioners of any county in which there has been a water users' association organized in conformity with the requirements of the United States under the Reclamation Act of June 17, 1902, and which, under its articles of incorporation, is authorized to furnish water only to its stockholders, is hereby authorized to accept such water users' association books for public record, containing printed copies of their articles of incorporation and forms of subscription to stock and to use such books for recording the stock subscriptions of such association. The charges for the recording of such stock subscriptions shall be made on the basis of the number of words actually written therein.
