Statutes > South-dakota > Title-51a > Chapter-04 > Statute-51a-4-551A-4-5. Certificate of authority required to engage in banking business--Misdemeanor. No person, partnership or corporation may advertise, publish or otherwise represent that he is engaged in the business of banking without having first obtained a certificate of authority from the director, as provided in this title. A violation of this section is a Class 1 misdemeanor.
