Statutes > South-dakota > Title-58 > Chapter-05a > Statute-58-5a-258-5A-2. "Domestic insurer" defined. For purposes of §§ 58-5A-3 to 58-5A-18, inclusive, a domestic insurer shall include any other person controlling a domestic insurer unless such other person is either directly or through its affiliates primarily engaged in business other than the business of insurance.
