61-3-5. Reports and communications privileged in actions for defamation. No letter, report, communication, or other matter, whether oral or written, from the employer, the employer's agents, representatives or employees, to each other or to the secretary of labor, the secretary's agents, representatives or employees, which have been written or made in connection with the requirements and administration of this title or any rules promulgated pursuant to this title, may be made subject matter or basis for any action, whether civil or criminal, for slander or libel.
