Statutes > South-dakota > Title-7 > Chapter-18a > Statute-7-18a-147-18A-14. Majority vote required for approval of initiated measure--When measure effective. No initiated ordinance or resolution shall become operative unless approved by a majority of the votes cast for and against the same. If so approved, it shall take effect upon the completion of the canvass of the election returns relating thereto.
