§ 781. Establishment of commission; composition, appointment and tenure; chairman

There is hereby established a commission on interstate cooperation to consist of nine members; three members of the senate and three members of the house of representatives to be chosen as are other legislative committees, the attorney general and the administrative heads of two state departments who shall be designated by the governor on the first day of February of each year following the general election. The commission shall hold office during the biennial period following its selection, and shall choose its chairman from legislative members. (1961, No. 75, § 1.)
