TITLE 3ExecutiveAppendix Executive OrdersCHAPTER 3. EXECUTIVEExecutive Order No. 3-3.(No. 14-78)[Interagency Committee on Rules and Administrative Procedures]

WHEREAS, Act 211 enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont 1975 Adjourned Session created an Interagency Committee on Rules and Administrative Procedures; and

WHEREAS, Act 211 empowers the Governor to appoint members of the Committee from the Executive Branch who shall serve at his pleasure; and

WHEREAS, Act 211 provides that the Governor may designate programs for which proposed rules must be filed with the Interagency Committee at least 15 days prior to initiation of rule making publication;

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED:

1. The Interagency Committee shall be composed of one person from each of the following agencies to be designated by the head of the agency upon notice to and approval of the Governor as follows:

a. Agency of Transportation

b. Agency of Development and Community Affairs

c. Agency of Human Services

d. Agency of Environmental Conservation

e. Department of Agriculture

f. Department of Labor

g. Department of Employment Security

h. Department of Education

Each agency head shall designate at least one alternate to serve on the Interagency Committee when the representative is unable to do so.

2. The Chairman of the Interagency Committee shall be appointed by the Governor and shall serve as the representative of the Governor.
