§ 215. Commissioner, member of councils
The commissioner of each department shall be ex officio a member of all councils within the department. However, he shall not vote unless otherwise provided by law and shall not participate as a member of a council in matters involving the quasi-judicial functions of the council relative to administrative decisions of the department except as otherwise provided by law. The commissioner or his representative shall attend all meetings of the councils within the department. (1959, No. 329 (Adj. Sess.), § 7, eff. March 1, 1961.)
