§ 452. Composition of court

(a) The family court shall consist of one presiding judge and two assistant judges, if available, in those cases listed in section 454 of this title and heretofore heard by the superior court, unless the proceeding is specifically within the jurisdiction of the office of magistrate.

(b) In all other proceedings, the family court shall consist of the presiding judge sitting alone. (Added 1989, No. 221 (Adj. Sess.), § 1, eff. Oct. 1, 1990.)
