§ 734. -Copy of lost petition

When a petition pending in court in any cause is lost, mislaid or destroyed, the court on motion may grant leave to the petitioner to file with the clerk the copy served upon the petitionee, or a copy thereof certified by the officer serving the same, and the same proceedings shall thereupon be had as though the original petition were in court.
