§ 6603g. Hazardous waste facility grant program

The secretary shall administer a grant program under this section for any municipality which has received a notice of intent to construct a hazardous waste management facility under section 6606a of this title. The grant not to exceed $75,000.00 and not to exceed 75 percent of the accepted estimated costs may be used by the proposed host municipality to provide technical assistance and to otherwise assist the community to effectively assess the impacts of an existing application for a local permit for a hazardous waste treatment or disposal facility.
