§ 1301a. Department of labor; composition

The department of labor, created by section 212 of Title 3, shall consist of a commissioner of labor, the Vermont employment security board, the Vermont workforce development division, the unemployment insurance and wages division, and the workers' compensation and safety division. The chair of the employment security board shall be the commissioner of labor ex officio. The deputy commissioner of labor may serve as chair in the absence of the commissioner as the commissioner's designee. (Added 1959, No. 329 (Adj. Sess.) § 20, eff.
