§ 1-109. Construction against implicit repeal

This chapter is a general act intended to create unified coverage of its subject matter, and no part of it shall be construed to be repealed by subsequent legislation if that construction can be reasonably avoided. (Added 1997, No. 104 (Adj. Sess.), § 3, eff. Jan. 1, 1999.)
