§ 15.2-727. Payment of certain assessments.

The board may provide that the persons, firms or corporations against whomassessments have finally been made under Article 2 (§ 15.2-2404 et seq.) ofChapter 23 of this title may pay such assessments in equal installments overa period not exceeding ten years together with interest at a rate not toexceed ten percent per year on the unpaid balance. Such installments maybecome due at the same time that real estate taxes become due and payable andthe amount of each installment, including principal and interest, shall beshown on the tax ticket mailed to each such person, firm or corporation bythe treasurer.
