§ 2.2-515.1. (Contingent expiration - see Editor's notes) StatewideFacilitator for Victims of Domestic Violence.

The Attorney General shall establish a Statewide Facilitator for Victims ofDomestic Violence within the Office of the Attorney General. The StatewideFacilitator shall have the responsibility to assist agencies in implementingdomestic violence programs and shall report on the status of such programs tothe House Committee on Courts of Justice and the Senate Committee on Courtsof Justice and the Virginia State Crime Commission by January 1 of each year.

The StatewideFacilitator shall have the responsibility to (i) establish an addressconfidentiality program in accordance with § 2.2-515.2, (ii) assist agenciesin implementing domestic violence programs, and (iii) report on the status ofsuch programs to the House Committee on Courts of Justice and the SenateCommittee on Courts of Justice and the Virginia State Crime Commission byJanuary 1 of each year.
