§ 51.5-51. Local rehabilitative services incentive fund; establishment andadministration.

Local disability services boards may establish a local rehabilitativeservices incentive fund and may make expenditures from such fund to meetprogrammatic and individual recipient needs not otherwise met throughexisting federal, state, or local programs and to develop community programsto meet the needs of persons with physical and sensory disabilities. Whensuch a fund is established, the local governing bodies of the jurisdictionsparticipating in the board shall designate the fiscal agent for theadministration of the fund. The availability of this local fund shall not betaken into consideration in, nor used to reduce, state or localappropriations or payments.
