A state savings bank shall comply with the minimum capital requirements ofthe Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation applicable to such institutions.Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Commission may impose such minimum capitalrequirements as it deems necessary in order to insure safe and soundoperation.
