§ 6.1-194.84:1. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Special examinations.

Upon written application made to the Commission by the board of directors orby the stockholders representing two-fifths of the total outstanding capitalstock of any savings institution incorporated under the laws of and doingbusiness in this Commonwealth, or when, in the judgment of the Commission, itmay be necessary for the protection of the public or of persons depositing ordealing with such savings institution, the Commission shall cause to be madea special examination of such savings institution. All expenses incident tosuch special examination may be charged to the savings institution soexamined and shall be paid by the savings institution so charged.
