§ 8.01-406. Interpreters; recording testimony of deaf witness.

Interpreters shall be sworn truly so to do. In any judicial proceeding, thejudge on his own motion or on the motion of a party to the proceeding mayorder all of the testimony of a deaf individual and the interpretationthereof to be visually electronically recorded for use in verification of theofficial transcript of the proceedings.
