§ 8.01-541. To whom attachments directed; when and where returned.
Any attachment issued under this chapter may be directed to the sheriff ofany county or city. Except when otherwise provided, it shall be returnable tothe office of the clerk of court wherein the petition has been filed not morethan thirty days from its date of issuance.
