On or before June 30th of each even-numbered year, the commission shall submit a report to the appropriate policy and fiscal committees of the house of representatives and senate that describes the tourism development program for the previous fiscal year and quantifies the financial benefits to the state. The report must contain information concerning targeted markets, benefits to different areas of the state, return on the state's investment, grants disbursed under the tourism competitive grant program, a copy of the most recent strategic plan, and other relevant information related to tourism development.

Notes: Intent -- 1998 c 299: "It is the intent of this act to provide for predictable and stable funding for tourism development activities of the state of Washington by establishing funding levels based on proven performance and return on state funds invested in tourism development and to establish a tourism development advisory committee."
