§269-25  Valuations.  The publicutilities commission may either upon its own motion or upon application by anyutility for any order where the commission deems it advisable and to the bestinterest of the public and the utility cause a valuation to be made toascertain for any purpose specified in this chapter the value of the propertyof any public utility and every fact and element of value which in its judgmentmay or does have any bearing on such value.  The commission may makerevaluations and ascertain the value of all additions, betterments, extensions,and acquisitions of property of any public utility.
