[§291-3.4]  Exceptions; consumption orpossession of intoxicating liquor while a passenger in a motor vehicle, storageof opened container containing intoxicating liquor.  Sections 291-3.2 and291-3.3 shall not apply to a motor vehicle for hire which has been issued acertificate of public convenience or necessity, 1-7 passenger classification bythe public utilities commission so long as the motor vehicle has a barrierbetween the driver and the passengers sufficient to prevent intoxicating liquorfrom being passed between them and only the passengers behind the barrierconsume the intoxicating liquor.
