§302A-1507  Classroom cleaning project;established.  (a)  There is established a classroom cleaning project in allpublic schools, excluding charter schools.  Each school, through its schoolcommunity council, may develop mechanisms to provide for classroom cleaning,including but not limited to having parent, student, or other community groupsclean the classrooms on a regular, continuing basis.

(b)  Schools may use any available resources toachieve the purposes of this section; provided that no full-time custodialstaff employed at the school shall be displaced. [L 1996, c 89, pt of §2; am L2004, c 51, §31; am L 2006, c 298, §15]
