CHAPTER 13. SAFE HAVEN RELINQUISHMENTS

Art. 1149. Purpose

The purpose of this Chapter is to provide a mechanism whereby any parent may relinquish the care of an infant to the state in safety, anonymity, and without fear of prosecution.
