[§286-202.8]  Mudguards; protectivedevices.  (a)  A commercial motor vehicle shall not be operated onthe public highways unless the vehicle is equipped with fenders, covers, orother devices, including flaps or splash aprons, to minimize the spray or splashof water or mud to the rear of the vehicle.

(b)  Violation of this section shall be subjectto a fine of $50, notwithstanding section 286-206. [L 2005, c 134, pt of §1]
