§286-3  Powers and duties of the governor. 
The governor, in addition to other duties and responsibilities conferred upon
the governor by the Constitution and laws of the State, may contract and do all
other things necessary in behalf of the State to promote traffic safety.  To
that end the governor shall coordinate the activities of the State and its
counties.



The governor may delegate duties and functions
conferred upon the governor by this chapter to the director of transportation
appointed under the authority of section 26-31 who shall also be designated as
