§286-7  County highway safety programs. Whenever it is determined by the governor to be in the public interest, thegovernor may delegate highway safety programs or portions thereof to thecounties; provided that the program of each county is approved by thegovernor.  Delegations under this section shall be made by gubernatorialproclamation.
