§290-6  Effect of transfer of title. The transfer of title and interest by sale hereunder shall be considered atransfer by operation of law and shall be governed by provisions applicablethereto; provided that in the event the certificate of ownership orregistration is unavailable, the bill of sale executed by the authorized countyofficer is satisfactory evidence authorizing the transfer of such title orinterest.
