[§291C-201]  Renting or selling mopeds. (a)  Every person engaged in the retail business of selling or renting mopedsshall provide the person renting or purchasing a moped with a copy of the rulesfor mopeds as approved by the director of transportation.

(b)  Every person renting a moped to anothershall keep a record for two years of the registration number of the moped sorented, the name and address of the person to whom the moped is rented, thenumber of the driver's license of the latter person, and the date and placewhen and where the driver's license was issued.  This record shall be open toinspection by any police officer or the examiner of drivers or the examiner ofdrivers' representative.
