22-15-16. Purpose.

It is the purpose of the Historical Codes Act [22-15-15 NMSA 1978] to promote an appreciation, necessary to a complete education, for the heritage and history of our civilization through the posting of historical codes pursuant to the provisions of the Historical Codes Act.
