65-1-29.1. Receipts; disbursements.

Money collected under the Motor Transportation Act [65-1-1 NMSA 1978] shall be paid to the state treasurer for the credit of the motor vehicle suspense fund not later than the close of the second business day after their [its] receipt. At the same time, the department shall deliver to the taxation and revenue department documentation sufficient to make refunds, distributions and other disbursements of the money paid into the fund by the department.
