§ 116. Mother and child health service; training of nurses and workers

(a) The board shall continue the existing health service for mothers and children established in a manner harmonious with parts one and two of title V of the act of Congress approved August 14, 1935 and entitled social security act and shall continue its existing health service for crippled children.

(b) The board may pay for the graduate training of public health nurses and other professional health department workers whom it employs. (Amended 1959, No. 75, eff. April 1, 1959; 1959, No. 329 (Adj. Sess.), § 27, eff. March 1, 1961.)
