§ 1101. Concurrent authority; class 1 highways

On all class 1 highways, and the bridges on class 1 highways the agency shall have concurrent authority and jurisdiction with selectmen in all matters within the authority and jurisdiction of the selectmen under the provisions of this chapter. If a person named in an order made by the agency under the authority of this section, neglects or refuses to comply with the order within the time prescribed by law, the agency may report the neglect or refusal to the state's attorney of the county where the highway or bridge mentioned in the order is located.
