§ 1-205. Officers elected

The legal voters shall elect biennially a mayor, a city clerk and treasurer, and a first constable. Annually, the legal voters of each ward shall elect from among the legal voters of their respective wards, one alderman for a term of two (2) years, and one school commissioner to serve for a term of three (3) years.
