§ 4344. Existing commissions

The representatives of any existing regional planning or regional development commission or bodies having similar powers and functions established under sections 2771 through 2779 and sections 2923 through 2931 of this title shall continue in office until the end of their term so established. New representatives shall be appointed and vacancies filled only under this chapter. Such commissions shall have on March 23, 1968, all of the powers and duties of a regional planning commission created under this chapter. (Added 1967, No. 334 (Adj. Sess.), § 1, eff. March 23, 1968.)
