§ 3209. Licensing without examination

The director of the office of professional regulation may, upon payment of the required fee, grant a license without examination if the applicant:

(1) is licensed to practice clinical social work in another state; and

(2) the requirements for licensing in that state are, in the judgment of the director of the office of professional regulation, essentially equivalent to the requirements of this chapter. (Added 1985, No. 253 (Adj. Sess.), § 1; amended 1989, No. 250 (Adj. Sess.), § 4(d); 1993, No. 98, § 29.)
